Myth of Logic

For The Memory of After, Scott Davis ups his game and expands the Myth of Logic sound with carefully chosen guest musicians. Violinist Chris Barbosa brings a gorgeous emotional shine to two of the album’s epic tracks and stands out as one of its most striking enhancements. David Pate’s soulful tenor sax on “The Sky is Falling” adds a warm, unexpected texture, while Jerry Outlaw’s fiery lead guitar work on “Mercy Paradox” injects real edge and energy. Throughout it all, Louis Alexi anchors the album with expressive drums and percussion that elevate the dynamics of every piece. The result is a richer, more cinematic Myth of Logic—Scott’s vision broadened by collaborators who clearly understood the assignment.
