Singled Celled Organism (SCO) is the brainchild of German drummer and multi-instrumentalist Jens Lueck, with assistance from his friends. Event Horizon, their third album, is an exceptional work that consolidates all of the band's previous efforts into a remarkably cohesive and well-crafted 60-minute collection. The album is teeming with exceptional musicianship and outstanding songwriting.

If you're already familiar with SCO, you'll adore Event Horizon. And if you're not, this album is an ideal introduction. None of the nine tracks is a dud, and they are all filled with melodic prog that is Prog Radio's sweet spot.

Event Horizon is without a doubt one of the finest albums of 2023. We're overjoyed to be playing several tracks from the album on our New Music rotation at Prog Radio. The band's first two albums are available on streaming services, but to get this treasure, you'll need to head over to Bandcamp (click the B/C link below). It's worth every penny, and it's an album that will keep you captivated from start to finish for many listens.
