Glass Hammer has been around for nearly 30 years, and by my count, this is their 18th studio album! Dreaming City is a concept album of the story of a man's quest to rescue his lover from a troubled city, taking on horrors along the way, and he only has 3 days to do it!

Like all the best prog albums, there is a log of variety in this album. It has a lot of grit and bite to it, but with plenty of melody along the way. This album has a bit of everything and cover's a lot of ground sonically. You will definitely not get bored with it, as it's constantly changing.

Glass Hammer is one of the last few prog bands still not on most streaming services, which is unfortunate for those who aren't familiar with their broad range of work, since streaming is how many discover new music these days. It's definitely too bad we can't include some of these great songs on our featured playlists. You will have to buy the album to enjoy it, but you'll be well rewarded and not regret it. Well worth the price of admission. A great album! 4.5 Stars.
