Stream of Passion, initially assembled in 2005 by Arjen Anthony Lucassen, marks a noteworthy return with their latest EP "Beautiful Warrior". The disbandment in 2016 left their fans yearning, making their reunion and the subsequent release of this EP a long-awaited musical gift. We generally focus our reviews on full-length albums, but "Beautiful Warrior" compelled us to make an exception due to its exceptional musical craftsmanship and strong songs.

"The Hunter", the lead single, sets a compelling tone for the EP, illustrating the band’s distinctive blend of symphonic and progressive elements. Marcela Bovio, known for her collaborations with MaYaN, Ayreon, and Dark Horse White Horse, enriches each track with her extraordinary vocals. This reunion is welcomed with overwhelming enthusiasm from the band and their fans alike. Bassist Johan van Stratum, also known for his collaborations with VUUR and Blind Guardian, shares the collective excitement and anticipation surrounding this new chapter in their musical journey.
