"Calling" marks the debut of the British self-taught guitarist Michael Alan, known in full as Michael Alan Kremastoules. With roots in Greek descent, Michael embarked on his musical journey by embracing the guitar at the tender age of 14. He hails from Leeds, West Yorkshire, England.
Although Michael may be a new name for many, given that this is his inaugural release, his instrumental album is an unexpected delight. Michael's guitar prowess is indisputable. He can astound with intricate shred techniques and stun with his guitar wizardry. However, the truly enchanting aspect of his musicianship is his capacity for restraint and his dynamic style. His album "Calling" is a varied soundscape encompassing multiple genres, from jazz to rock, blues to metal, progressive to acoustic - it's a comprehensive package.
We at Prog Radio are thrilled to include several tracks from "Calling" in our New Music rotation. We highly encourage tuning in to appreciate this extraordinary guitarist and musician, Michael Alan, who is sure to leave you impressed and entertained.
