Supergroup started by Threshold’s keyboards player Richard West to release a sequel to Threshold’s 2017 double-disc record "Legends of the Shires." West decided to pursue this project solo when the idea of continuing the story did not find strong support among other Threshold band members. West put together his supergroup and they released "The Fall of the Shires" in 2023.
