The Life of the Honey Bee...

More an adult contemporary album with some prog bits tossed in. The music jumps all over the place, and not always in a good way. One minute jazzy with a Steely Dan vibe, then folksy and country, then suddenly 80's synch pop. It's a bit of a confusing album, with prog moments, but just jumping between genres doesn't make it good prog.

You'll likely either really like this album, or find it lacking. For me, it's more the latter. The songs just aren't strong enough. It's an interesting enough album for a listen or two, but not something I'll want to listen to again.

I found the song The Light Shines Out particularly bothersome with the seemingly attempt to sound like Peter Gabriel. 3 Yaks.
