The emphasis felt squarely on the production and musicianship, with the actual “songs” perhaps being somewhat ignored. More a series of production moments than songs. These guys have it in them to do strong songs, as they do brilliantly on the three highlighted songs below. With it’s Frank Zappa meets Toy Matinee sound, you won’t be bored with this album, but you might also find yourself not remembering much of it either. 3.5 Yaks.
